Special assemblies are regular formal gathering of all students in a school for a special information, program or presentation. A high quality school assembly is one of the most important aspects of a school’s curriculum. An assembly is when the school community, or part of it, mets together to share aspects of life that are of worth. It acts as a medium for communicating matters of significance from one generation to another.

Morning assembly

Morning assembly is the physical, mental and spiritual preparation before beginning the studies at school. We are entering the temple of learning and therefore we need to make our body and mind pure. Prayer  is nothing but a purification of one’s mind. Noble thoughts alone can make a mind pure. We start with the prayer:

We begin the school day with a prayer. A thought for the day, headline news, interesting facts, recitation of poem and ‘shlokas’ followed by a rendition of the National Anthem are an integral part of the morning assembly. It brings all students at one platform. we start our day by making a firm commitment to do our best for the school and ourselves.

A platform to express our thoughts and feelings and display our talents is provided through regular assemblies. The idea of learning and growing together is given to our students. Our children exchange ideas and views about different aspects of their daily lives as well as the world around them.

Special assemblies

Children learn about music , dance , festivals , customs and tradition , foods through celebration of important days.

Earth Day, Gandhi Jayanti,  Independence Day, Republic Day, Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Hindi Diwas.
