LAUNCH OF SECOND EDITION OF SCHOOL MAGAZINE
The second edition of “Insight… A Spectrum of Possibilities” was launched on 30th March, 2019. It is a milestone that presents a panoramic view of the school’s achievements, celebrations, events, ceremonies and festivities.
AWARD CEREMONY (GRADE I-IX & XI)
Sanskar The Co-Educational School organized an Award Ceremony on 30th March, 2019 to acknowledge the journey of success of meritorious students of classes I-IX and XI in the field of academics as well as co-curricular activities.
The young achievers were felicitated with the prestigious school blazer, trophies, badges & certificates of recognition and motivated them to keep up the good work. Scholarships were also given to the students in the form of fee waiver to encourage and motivate them to achieve the great heights of success.
EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
Earth Day was celebrated on 22nd April, 2019 to motivate the students to achieve the goal of environmental preservation and sustainability. The budding environmentalists celebrated Earth Day by participating in a poster making competition on the theme ‘Our Mother Earth’. They also participated in a tree plantation drive and planted saplings in and around the school.
BIRTHDAY HAWAN
Hawan, a holy, pious and purifying ritual which involves a sacred fire not only purifies the atmosphere but also pacifies the mind, body & soul. With this sacred belief, the school had started a unique and traditional practice to invoke Almighty’s blessings: the Birthday Hawan….celebrating the Vedic Way. It is being organized in the last week of every month.
Adult Education Programme
The students participated in adult education programme and contributed in eradicating illiteracy by teaching poor children.
UNCOVERED NEW VISTAS OF LEARNING AT SUMMER CAMP
The students of Grade I -VIII learned various skills such as dance, drama, yoga, skating, taekwondo and music in The Enhancement Workshop, commenced from 20th to 31st May, 2019. The enchanted pieces of art and models prepared as a part of STEM and Literary activities were shown as an exhibition.
Career Development Workshop
Sanskar The Co-Educational School organized a Career Development Workshop entitled “Career and Life in the Uniform” on 17th May, 2019 for the students of Grade X, XI and XII to guide and mentor the students about the careers in armed forces. Colonel B. K Chaturvedi conducted an interactive session and outlined that the most difficult stage in a teenager’s life is the time to contemplate professional goals and to chalk out a career path. He inspired the students to choose armed forces as it is one of the few noble professions left today.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY: LET’S PROTECT THE BEAUTY OF THIS EARTH
‘World Environment Day’ was celebrated on 5th June, 2019. Sanskarians planted saplings and a poster making competition was also organized for the students of Grade I-X.
YOGA DAY 2019: YOGA IS A LIGHT, ONCE LIT, WILL NEVER DIM!
The students joined practitioners of Yoga around the world in celebration of International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2019.
Workshop on Soft Skills and 21st Century Skills for Students
Sanskar The Co-educational School organized workshop on ‘Soft skills and 21st century skills on 13th July, 2019 by Ms. Mayuri Dutt. It was a highly interactive & inclusive session based on motivational documentaries on team work, individual targets and goals. The students’ explored issues and practical ideas connected to problem-solving, cooperation, communication, critical and creative thinking.
Workshop on Hands on Physics Experiments
Sanskar The Co-Educational School organized workshop on ‘Hands on Physics Experiments’ for Grade XI and XII on 23rd July, 2019 by Ms. Pragya Nopany. The students were given first-hand experience of various scientific concepts. The students tried their hands on practicals on Electrostatics, magnetic effects and hands on AC and DC activities through inductor coil and capacitor. The workshop was an enlightening and enriching experience filled with innovative activities.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2019: LEADERS TOOK THE BATON OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Investiture ceremony was spearheaded by the Chief Guest Major General Sanjay Soi (Retd.). The students were granted prestigious roles and responsibilities to lead their school by.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION
On the occasion of National Sports Day, Sanskar The Co-Educational School organised screening of the launch of Fit India Movement live for faculty and students in the school auditorium. The students witnessed the colourful presentation of India’s indigenous martial art forms, dances & sports and address by PM Narendra Modi in which he stressed on the need to be fit, shared that a healthy India is his goal and called for a strict control on people’s lifestyles.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
The Natkhat Nandalas and adorable Radhas of Sanskar The Co-Educational School welcomed the festival of Janmashtami on 23rd August, 2019 with open arms and high spirits. It was a day when one could witness glimpses of Lord Krishna’s childhood as the Sanskarians danced around in their dhotis with flutes in their hands. The main attraction of the event was breaking of the treasure filled matki.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION: SALUTED WARRIORS FOR SAFEGUARDING US
The Honorable Chief Guest GROUP CAPTAIN PANKAJ KANDPAL INDIAN AIR FORCE graced the event. The students presented ‘Shourya Gatha- a Gallantry Saga’ of dance, drama and music to commemorate the exemplary grit and character of Indian Air Force, Wing Commander, Abhinandan Varthaman in the face of extraordinary odds i.e India-Pakistan stand off 2019.
Tree Plantation Drive
The students planted around 400 saplings in and around school campus in a special tree plantation drive organized on 9th August, 2019.
SANSKAR INTRA MUN CONFERENCE 2019
Sanskar Intra MUN Conference 2019 was organized on 5th August, 2019 with powerful and enthusiastic delegations from AIPPM. A great and active participation took place amidst discussions where the agenda was ‘Effects of Demonetisation 2016’. The Intra MUN conference dealt with a uniform simulation, conducting smooth discussions regarding the assigned agenda.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP- ‘GO KARTING’
The students visited Hindan Air Base Station in the month of September and enjoyed Go Karting. Also, they got a rare opportunity to eye witness various aircrafts and helicopters included in our force.
Cervical Cancer Awareness Camp
A Cervical Cancer Awareness Camp in association with Rotary Club was organized on 7th September, 2019. Dr Sushma S Dhar, Consultant (Oncology), Dharamshila Cancer Foundation and Research Centre was the Guest Speaker of the day.
TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION
The Sanskarians celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September, 2019 to express gratitude and show their appreciation for the love the teachers shower on them. The students gave a wonderful dance performance, made and presented beautiful cards to the teachers. They were touched to receive such an abundance of love and blessed the students in return.
EXTRAORDINARY CLASS PRESENTATIONS
Class presentations were organized in April and September. From recitations, dance performances, skating, taekwondo to yoga acts, the presentations were the perfect blend of everything that they had learnt over the past few months.
RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS CELEBRATION
‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October, 2019. An Assembly was conducted on this special event by all the students of the school which included a pledge ceremony by the Principal, Ms. Sadhana Sharma. The students also got to know some very interesting facts about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
SECOND EDITION OF SANSMUNC’19
SANSMUNC’19 was proudly hosted on 18th and 19th November, 2019. It was flagged off by a beautiful opening ceremony, inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Ashok Goel, Minister Vyapari Kalyaan Board, Upadhyaksh, U.P. Govt.
Nearly 120 delegates from almost 12 reputed schools and colleges of Ghaziabad and Delhi NCR made their voices count at the highly anticipated conference.
